Provider Update Meetings

 

All HCBS providers are welcome to attend the Provider Update Meeting. However, if you are a designated manager for in-home services, you are required to attend one of these sessions each year in order to maintain your designated manager certification. Failure to attend an update meeting will invalidate your certification. To become certified again, you must pass the test again.

MMAC will host this Provider Update Meeting online through WebEx Webinar.

YOU MUST HAVE A WEBEX ACCOUNT TO JOIN THE MEETING. YOU WILL BE PROMPTED ON SETTING THIS UP DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.

Registration

  • Pre-registration is required. If you do not pre-register, you will not be able to attend.
  • YOU CANNOT REGISTER TO ATTEND ON THE DATE OF THE WEBINAR.
    •  The online registration form must be filled out accurately & completely (check all spelling)
  • Make sure that you use a valid email address specific to the person registering. Each person must register using a unique email address. More than one person cannot register with the same email address.
  • The email address used to register is the one that will receive ALL email reminders: YOU CANNOT JOIN THE MEETING without the email which has the JOIN NOW button.
  • Likewise you will not receive confirmation for attending without if you have not joined the meeting. THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING emails (this replaces certificate of attendance) will be sent out after the end of the meeting via messenger @ webex.com.
  • Once you have registered you should receive an email immediately to the email address that you registered with. Please check your Junk/Spam folders since the APPROVED registration is an automated response from messenger@webex.comand some email providers may think it is junk/spam mail.
  • Once the training date has reached capacity, the date will no longer be available for selection from the registration form.
  • You must attend the date you select in the registration in order to receive credit for Designated Manager compliance.
  • After your registration is confirmed, click DONE button.
  • You will receive an email notification to add to your calendar. PLEASE ACCEPT the notification (click on green checkmark at top of page) so you receive notification with the LINK TO JOIN on the day of the event.
  • If you have not used WebEx, please familiarize yourself with it prior to attending the meeting.
