MO HealthNet (MHD) is offering FREE continuing education (CE) sessions for doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. Each session is created and presented by Relias and all are available as live webinars and will be recorded so you can earn continuing education credit on your own time.
The list of topics and schedule is on the MO HealthNet Provider Training Calendar. You do not need to be a MO HealthNet provider to register. As trainings are confirmed, speakers and registration links will be added to the MO HealthNet Provider Training calendar.

Each session is for 1.0 CME hour for physicians, 1.0 CPE for pharmacists, and 1.0 contact hour for nurses.
In support of improving patient care, Relias LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Webinar must be attended in its entirety and attendees must complete the evaluation and post-test in order to receive the certificate of completion.

The 2023 HCBS Provider Update Meeting dates are April 19 & 20, 2023 and October 18 & 19, 2023. Please save these dates to your calendar and watch for the registration link to be added to the website within 30 days of the meeting date.
If you are a designated manager for an in-home services provider, you are required to attend one of these sessions each year in order to maintain your designated manager certification.
State and federal regulations (13 CSR 65-2 and 42 CFR 455.460) require Missouri Medicaid Audit and Compliance (MMAC) to collect an application fee from all new and revalidating “Institutional” Medicaid providers. “Individual” providers such as physicians, dentists and other individual non-physician practitioners are not required to pay the application fee.
The application fee is currently set at $631.00, and it will increase to $688.00 on January 1, 2023.

Based on the actions of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, notice is hereby given that the agreement between the Missouri Department of Social Services and Aspire Senior Living Fayette, as a provider of services in the MO HealthNet (Medicaid) program, will be terminated at the close of business November 24, 2022.
To facilitate the orderly relocation of MO HealthNet beneficiaries, for residents admitted August 23, 2022 or earlier, payment may continue for up to 30 days for services furnished after November 24, 2022.

On NOVEMBER 17, 2022, MMAC is hosting a one day additional provider update meeting for all HCBS providers who did not attend the October 20, 2022 meeting. The meeting will be the exact same format as the October 20, 2022 meeting. If you missed attending the October 20th meeting, please attend this meeting.

Currently enrolled Adult Day Care providers and Doorways (AIDS Waiver) are REQUIRED to attend a one hour training session hosted by MMAC at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. The training will be held virtually via WebEx and registration is required prior to joining the session.
HCBS Setting Requirements Nov 2, 2022 – Link to Register WebEx
The training will cover updates to the HCBS Settings Requirements, survey forms, training of employees, and a new provider assurance form. At least one person (Director, owner, or a managing employee) from each provider must attend the session to stay in compliance with enrollment.
